Pete Derti
VP of Operations
Pete came to Thomasville Homes 6 years ago from a job at Polo Ralph Lauren. His career at Polo began in 2001 right after receiving his MBA concentrating in Finance from the E. Philip Saunders School of Business at RIT. He started at Polo as a Financial Analyst increasing his experience and finally reaching the position of Senior Financial analyst. At Polo he was in charge of developing and administering a $35 million dollar budget for their main distribution center located in Greensboro, NC.
In 2004 Pete moved to Baltimore be closer to family. After settling down he looked to continue his chosen career in business and entrepreneurship. In 2006 Pete joined the team at Thomasville Homes. After a year and a half on the job doing financial operations control he was promoted to VP of Operations. Pete now controls all of the day to day financial and business processes and partners with Thomas in much of the Project Management. Pete was a great addition to the team as the his attention to detail and "Get it Done" mentality fits with the company's high standards of quality and service.
